Turbula
Premiere issue Autumn 2002

Theater

Turbula is quite blessed to be located in Southern California. While not usually considered a regional theater hotbed, the fact is that San Diego and Los Angeles have quite a bit of good theater — and regularly send Broadway such hits as "The Who's Tommy" (La Jolla Playhouse), "The Full Monty" (The Globe Theatres) and "Thoroughly Modern Millie (La Jolla Playhouse).

In this issue:

'Full Monty' comes full circle

Real-life literary feud leads Hollywood's Ephron to stage

Rivera now ready to tackle politics

'Pericles' comes to the Globe ... finally

Reviews

T.S. Kerrigan covers the L.A. theater scene for several publications, and will be giving us his view from the City of Angels; Jim Trageser is a theater critic in San Diego and gets to see many Broadway hits before they ever get to the Big Apple.

We'll be adding more theater reviews in the weeks to come — while this is a quarterly magazine, it's also online — so there's no reason to sit on new reviews as they come in!
